Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of a Trepup subscription complies with all applicable regulations within their jurisdiction.

Subscribing to Trepup One or any other paid service requires users to meet the legal requirements for entering into a binding contract under their jurisdiction. By subscribing, users confirm that they will provide accurate account information, maintain updated payment details, and comply with all platform policies and obligations.

To continue using Trepup One after the free trial, users must activate the promo plan before the trial ends by:

Users are considered active subscribers upon entering the promo period. The promo plan provides three months of discounted pricing and is only available to new subscribers. Charges begin immediately upon activation.

• Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Downgrading your plan

Once a subscription is suspended, the associated store is taken offline and access to all Trepup One services is revoked until payment is successfully processed.

What happens if payment fails?

If a subscription payment fails, the following conditions apply:

• Scenario 1

  Payment fails at the end of a billing cycle. A 14-day grace period is activated, during which users retain full access to Trepup One services while attempting to resolve payment issues.

• Scenario 2

  Payment remains unsuccessful after the grace period. The subscription enters suspension status, and the store is taken offline until payment is successfully processed.

To restore service, users must manually update their payment method and complete payment before their store is reactivated.

Trepup One follows a structured Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)-compliant payment and billing system to ensure secure and regulated transactions. PCI DSS is a global security standard established to protect payment data and prevent fraud.

Trepup is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, meaning all transactions meet the highest security and encryption standards required by the industry. All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a globally recognized third-party payment processor that manages billing, payment retries, and tax compliance.

Users must maintain an active payment method to prevent service interruptions.

Accepted payment methods and billing process

Trepup One supports multiple payment methods, all processed securely through Stripe. Users may link multiple payment methods to their Trepup Account, but one default payment method must be designated for automatic billing.

At the end of each billing cycle:

• Trepup generates an invoice detailing subscription charges and applicable taxes.
• Auto-payment is processed using the designated default payment method.
• If a payment attempt fails, Trepup automatically initiates a 14-day grace period, during which Stripe attempts to process the payment up to eight times based on an optimized retry schedule.

If payment remains unsuccessful after the 14-day grace period expires, the subscription enters suspension status, and the store is taken offline. Users can restore service at any time by updating their payment method and completing the required payment.

Taxes and pricing adjustments

Trepup complies with global tax regulations and applies taxes based on the user's billing location. Taxes are always calculated separately and added on top of the subscription price. The final total will reflect the base plan price plus applicable taxes.

• All taxes are applied separately from the subscription price, in compliance with local tax regulations.
• Trepup reserves the right to adjust pricing, tax rates, and currency values in response to exchange rate fluctuations, tax law changes, or regulatory shifts.
• Users will be informed in advance of any material changes affecting their subscription costs.

No refunds policy

All Trepup One subscription payments are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

To prevent unintended charges:

• Cancellations must be completed before the renewal date to stop future billing.
• Refunds are not issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.
• Subscription access continues until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation.
• Trepup is not liable for charges incurred due to failure to cancel before renewal.

If a refund is legally required, it will be processed using the original payment method, in accordance with applicable regulations and payment provider policies.

Chargebacks and disputes

Users who dispute a charge through their payment provider (e.g., credit card chargebacks, PayPal disputes) may face temporary subscription suspension while the dispute is under review.

Chargebacks are handled under the following conditions:

• Subscription access is paused immediately upon a chargeback filing.
• If a chargeback is deemed invalid or fraudulent, the user must repay the disputed amount to restore access.
• Multiple chargebacks may result in account restrictions, loss of service, or permanent suspension from Trepup One.
• Trepup reserves the right to submit evidence to the payment provider to challenge chargeback claims.

Once a dispute is resolved in favor of Trepup, the full outstanding balance must be settled before access is reinstated.

Fraud prevention and account holds

If suspicious activity is detected:

• Trepup may temporarily suspend subscription services while verifying payment legitimacy.

Store access and sharing

Store sharing allows the Trepup One plan manager (the primary store owner) to extend select subscription features to store members, enabling a collaborative workspace under a single Trepup One subscription.

The following conditions apply:

• The plan manager controls store sharing settings and can enable or disable shared access at any time.
• Store members gain access to shared Trepup One features, but individual permissions may vary based on subscription tier.
• If store sharing is disabled, store members immediately lose access to shared Trepup One features.
• Some benefits may be restricted to the plan manager only and not transferable to store members.

Loss of store group access

Users who leave or are removed from a store group immediately lose access to Trepup One benefits tied to that group.

The following conditions apply:

• If a store member leaves the group, they lose all shared Trepup One features and must subscribe separately to regain access.
• The Trepup One plan manager can remove store members at any time, without prior notice.
• Users cannot transfer their benefits to another account or store group.
• If a plan manager leaves or cancels the subscription, all store members lose shared access immediately.

Trepup reserves the right to modify its data-handling and communication practices to maintain compliance with evolving privacy regulations. Users will be notified of material changes affecting their data rights.
